Who we are

Mennonite Brethren Church in Malawi (MBCM) is a Christian organization, registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act in 2017 and with NGO Board and CONGOMA since 2018. MBCM started in Malawi on September 13th, 2009. It was birthed in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, located in the Dowa district of Malawi, by a small group of 4 refugees lead by Bahati Mutabesha. MBCM quickly become a fast-growing network of churches that focused on training leaders, making disciples of Christ and evangelizing in the area surrounding the refugee camp.

We work in areas where people are facing many challenges including poverty, drought, and flooding and where they lack education, transportation, leadership development.
